December 2010 - Ilha do Guajiru North International Airport (Cruz)

A new International Airport is planned to become operative end (August) 2011.

Ilha do Guajirú North International Airport!

Located at no more then 35 car minutes away from the Ecological Paradise, the airport is moving forward with maximum speed:

• the works have already been contracted:

The airport has to be delivered latest 360 days after signature of the contract, so is projected to become operative by approx. August 2011.

The works, involving an government investment of Reais 60.- million = euro 25 million, are split up in 2 stages:

Stage 1: the start and landing strip, involving Rs 51.- million.

Stage 2: the passenger terminal, with customs & police desks Rs 9.- million.
